It supports low-fat nutrition, because the coated surface means oil is almost unnecessary when cooking – and the ingredients don’t stick even when stir frying at high temperatures. The extremely tough and scratch-resistant non-stick sealing contains particles of silicon carbide, the hardest and lightest existing ceramic material. These form an innovative, 100% PFOA-free rugged surface texture that is as hard as stone and permits the use of metal kitchen utensils. The ultra-resistant scratch-proof surface gives your wok a high-quality appearance and will make it look new for longer.
The cookstar® all-hob ultra-thick 8mm aluminum base lies perfectly flat on the cooktop and guarantees an outstanding thermal conductivity, making it perfect for crisp high heat frying. Food flavours and juices are quickly sealed, while still offering all the advantages of a classic non-stick coating. This means the wok can be used for delicate food that tends to stick – like fish – and are very easy to clean.
